Profile of Chris
Chris first dove into the sport of triathlon in order to lose weight. After gradually gaining pounds (over a period of ten years), moving from 155 to 226 pounds, Chris selected a race date, one year out, to lose weight and attempt to finish a sprint distance triathlon. After one year of training Chris not only lost the weight, hitting 150 pounds, but found a sport that has become an enjoyable component in his life.
Chris is now actively engaged in training and coaching athletes
in the sport of triathlon. The distances
that he specializes in are sprint and olympic. Chris continues to enjoy racing and fitness.
